What is Radiology?
Radiology, or diagnostic imaging, is a series of tests that take images of injured parts of the body or areas in need of further analysis. This technology is used in two ways — diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology — both of which use radiant energy to diagnose and treat diseases.
The team at Hodgeman County Health Center provides radiology service as a part of our comprehensive diagnostic process. X-rays and other imaging technologies are instrumental in uncovering otherwise hidden injuries, conditions, and diseases. These tools offer us a view into the inner workings of the body, giving doctors vital information that can lead to a diagnosis.
Early detection remains one of the most important factors in the treatability of a wide range of conditions and illnesses.
