Radiology/CT Technologist

Position requires a dedicated and skilled technician who takes quality x-rays and CT scans of patients’ bones, soft tissues, or organs as instructed by patients’ physician. Should be compassionate toward patients and able to lift or move patients with mobility issues, and help the patient with fear and/or anxiety about the procedures being done. You are responsible for the primary care of the patient while he/she is in the Radiology Department. This radiology position requires being willing to learn/perform CT scans.

Registered Nurse

The charge nurse’s responsibility is to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of assigned patients.  Supervise and assist personnel.  Provides skilled, professional nursing care to patients throughout the age continuum.  Develops and maintains skills and knowledge to provide care to medical-surgical patients, skilled patients, and emergency room patients.

PULMONARY REHAB SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

The pulmonary health and rehabilitation program will staff (full-time, part-time, or consultant basis)
respiratory care practitioners who will be responsible for implementing the respiratory regimen and
assisting with pulmonary participant support.

Requirements:

  • Desire to work within a comprehensive healthcare team
  •  Commitment to a healthy lifestyle as a model to participants and staff
  •  Twenty-four (24) months of recent and relevant experience
  •  Current CPR and ACLS certification
  •  Current registration or certification in state of practice
  •  Specialization or certification in cardiopulmonary clinical area

MAINTENANCE WORKER

The primary purpose of the job position is to perform general maintenance and repairs of equipment, facilities and grounds to include plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. The building and grounds responsible for include Hospital/ISB facility, O’Shea Memorial Clinic, Bramley Independent Living Complex and parking lots. The position requires the ability to follow instructions, basic general knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building and equipment repair with the ability to use hand and power tools. Requires excellent organizational skills with time management and the ability to work with/get along with all types of individuals. This would be an excellent position to learn and grow in your knowledge along with stability and opportunity for advancement. This position is full-time and requires sharing in the monthly on-call rotation evenings and weekends.

HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGER

Registered health information technicians are vital to the daily operations management of health information and electronic health records. As a health information manager you will ensure a patient’s health information and records are complete, accurate and protected. Health information managers (HIM) organize, oversee, and protect patient health information data which includes symptoms, diagnoses, medical histories, test results, and procedures. Some everyday tasks this position requires are to implement health information systems, work with various medical staff, code or collaborate with coders, perform regular audits, organize and analyze health information, and supervise billing and coding staff. This position is full-time Monday-Friday. Requires good organizational skills and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Educational requirements are: Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management and registered as a RHIT or RHIA.

CLINICAL NURSE SUPERVISOR

Hodgeman County Health Center is looking to fill the role of nurse supervisor. The primary purpose of this position is to assist with maintaining compliance to professional nursing standards, support the medical staff in delivering high quality healthcare to clinic patients, and to oversee, mentor and develop the clinical nursing staff. Will be responsible for direct patient care in the clinic facilitating patient care flow, working in close collaboration with Clinic Practice Manager. Qualifications include: Licensed in Kansas to practice as an RN, at least 3-5 years of RN experience and minimum of 1 year supervisory/team leadership experience is required. Must have ability to communicate proficiently orally and in writing, leadership qualities, and able to work effectively in a team environment and with patients. The position is Full-time, Monday-Friday.

CLINIC RECEPTIONIST

Opening for a receptionist at O’Shea Memorial Clinic in Jetmore, Kansas. The minimum requirement would be a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year of experience as a receptionist, preferably in a medical setting, but will consider all experiences. Looking for someone who has a friendly and compassionate disposition, organizational and time management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, bilingual would be preferred, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and dedication to maintaining confidentiality. This position is full-time, 40 hours, Monday-Friday.
