Graduate of radiologic technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee (JRCERT). A valid and current license by Kansas Board of Healing Arts. Valid and current registration with an equivalent radiologic technology credentialing agency. Capable of and/or willing to learn CT and C-arm. Prefer 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience, however combinations of education, experience, and positive leadership qualities will be considered.
A brief job summary includes providing safe and effective radiologic services in the Radiology Department, emergency room, surgery and other areas using portable techniques. Set appropriate priorities for care, assessing the complexity of the patients' condition and the care to be delivered. Identifies and supports patient care needs, including language barriers. Must be able to supervise other rad techs as well as be proficient in all areas of rediological procedures. This management position is a working manager position that is subject to and shares in the rotating on-call weeknights and weekend schedule.
