It was Pumpkin Painting in October, then Christmas Ornament Painting in December and now it is Cookie Decorating for Valentines Day! The Jetmore United Methodist Church Middle School Sunday School class adopted the Hodgeman County Health Center Long Term Care as their community outreach partner. The Students, along with teachers Karla Dansel and Kristie Clark, along with several younger ones and their Moms, decorated 4 dozen delicious heart shaped sugar cookies with the nursing home residents on Sunday February 11, 2018. Both the young and young at heart enjoyed icing and partaking of the treats. Fellowship and relationship building was shared between the youth and residents, mutually blessing each other with time spent together. The Middle School Sunday School Class just finished a study of the Miracles and Parables of Jesus and will be starting a study of Acts next Sunday. Perhaps the next project will be decorating Easter Eggs in the Spring!
